Tomato puree through processing plants

Tomato puree is prepared from the well-ripened tomato fruits and from the residue after the extraction of tomato juice. The residue contains skin, seeds and some tomato juice too. The tomato liquid is separated from the tomato fruits and or residue. The liquid is passed to a tank with rotary steam coils or to vacuum pans.

The liquid is heated for evaporation. The heating is done to make the volume of the liquid less than the half. Then the thick dense tomato liquid is tomato puree. The tomato puree is ready for canning. The tomato puree is filled into the cans at 880C. The cans are sealed and cooled carefully in order to maintain the nutrition and real flavor of the tomato fruits.
