Tomato Ketchup
You can buy ready made tomato ketchup in departmental stores or make at your home. In the tomato processing industries, the tomato ketchup is made from the concentrated tomato pulp adding some sugar, salts, vinegar, onions and spices.
If you are growing tomatoes at your vegetable garden, you can make tomato ketchup at your home. Even if you are not growing tomatoes; sometimes, you will buy some tomato fruits in cheaper price if you are going to buy in large amount in large supermarket or tomato garden. You can make the tomato ketchup washing the tomato fruits, peeling the skin, crushing and sieving the tomato juice at your home.
For making tomato ketchup, the tomato juice should be sieved in such a way that tomato juice should not contain any skin pieces and seeds. The tomato juice is evaporated to make the tomato paste less than the half of the fresh tomato juice. Then some sugar, salts, vinegar, onions, spices are added to the tomato ketchup material and filled into bottles in hot state. The bottle of the tomato ketchup is sealed immediately. This way tomato ketchup is ready.
Nowadays, people eat more than 22 pounds of tomato and its products in the USA. Among the tomato products; tomato ketchup and tomato sauce were popular. But; nowadays, the quantity of the sale of the tomato salsa has exceeded the sale of tomato ketchup and tomato sauce.

My Mom is diabetic, so she cannot consume sugar. The tomato ketchup available in the market is made adding sugar. So I want to make tomato ketchup adding the powder of Stevia rebaudiana leaves instead of the sugar in my house. I have grown many plants of the Stevia rebaudiana on the pots at my house in Kathmandu, Nepal. Can I make the tomato ketchup adding the powder of Stevia rebaudiana leaves? Please respond my question.
