Tomato plants for oral vaccines

Alzheimer’s disease is a medical and degenerative disorder in the human brain that causes progressive and irreversible loss of thinking, memory and intellectuality in old age people. HIV or human immunodeficiency virus is a virus that disables the defense system of human being against diseases. HBV is a short form for hepatitis B virus.

Tomato plants will be the crop that will be utilized for vaccine preparation. The scientists become successful in the introduction of the genes into tomato plants which synthesize the proteins in the tomato fruits. The genes in the tomato plants will start synthesizing the proteins and tomato fruits will have the accumulation of the vaccines against fatal diseases. When the tomato fruits are consumed, the proteins inter the body and works in the same way as the polio vaccine of oral drops work in the human body. The scientists can also extract the vaccines from the tomato fruits and make available for human vaccination. This way, the gardeners will start growing tomatoes with some vaccines too for human being. The scientists are working to introduce the genes into the tomato plants for vaccine preparation for some fatal diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, HIV and HBV.

A few scientists are working for Alzheimer’s disease at Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Digital Biotech Inc and Department of Biological Science at Wonkwang University in Korea, a few are working with HIV and HBV at International AIDS Vaccine Initiative in New York and Siberian Institute of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry in Irkutsk, Russia.

This way; one day, the gardeners will start manufacturing the vaccines in tomato plants and fruits while growing tomatoes in their vegetable garden. When people eat the fruits, the vaccine also inters their body and starts to synthesize antibodies (defense substance against the disease pathogen) for Alzheimer’s disease, HIV and HBV. Finally the antibodies destroy the disease pathogen of Alzheimer’s disease, HIV and HBV.

This way it would not be necessary to refrigerate the vaccines of Alzheimer’s disease, HIV and HBV. It would not be necessary to inject the vaccines with piercing needle if the tomato plants and the fruits start synthesizing the proteins to fight against disease of Alzheimer’s, HIV and HBV. Gaining the art of growing tomatoes and training your children for growing tomatoes may one day help them to produce the vaccines in their own vegetable garden. It is incredible. But it will one day happen so.
