Tomato lycopene

The tomato fruits contain vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E and vitamin K. And, there is another nutrient called lycopene which makes the tomato fruit red. Lycopene is not only red coloring pigment but it is also an antioxidant. Intake of lycopene in the form of cooked tomato with edible oil or any standard form of processed tomato strengthens our body with enough defense mechanisms against diseases. The antioxidant including lycopene is a type of biochemical that neutralizes harmful free radicals in our body system.

But, any of them should be smeared onto your face half an hour before you go outside. Day time use of the face cream may change your face skin a little bit different with some red color. If you are interested in using the face cream or face lotion formulated with lycopene onto your face before you go to the bed, the smeared face cream or face lotion may stain your pillow. So, please be careful about it.

How we can take benefits from the intake of tomato is very curious question. So eating ripened fresh tomato fruit without cooking does not provide enough lycopene to our body system. People better not eat the tomato fruits directly without any heat treatment. They must pasteurize the fruits. The ripened fruit color varies from yellow to dark red color, but fully ripened tomato fruits, recognized as dark red color, are more beneficial than half ripened or just ripened fruits for considerable lycopene content. Sometimes, there is news that intake of red tomato without cooking raised the chance of typhoid in the human being. This is also assumed true nowadays. But the intake of cooked tomato in any form does not cause the chances of the typhoid. So be careful of it. So don’t eat uncooked tomato at any party or at any garden or at any grocery store. The daily intake of tomato should be done either in the form of cooked with edible oil or processed form. Adult consumer should not take tomato products more than 100 grams if he or she is taking it everyday.
